About Us
Klöckhof
Our family-run farm is an experience for all ages. The cozy lawn invites you to relax in the summer, and our younger guests aren't left out either. They can expect petting animals, a playground with a slide, swings, and much more.

Our story.
The Klöckhof farm looks back on a long and eventful history. The farm was first mentioned in the 14th century, back then under the name Chlekh. For over 600 years, people have lived and worked here, cultivating the land with passion and bringing tradition to life.
Over many generations, the farm has been rebuilt, maintained, and revitalized with new ideas by various families. Each family that lived here has left its mark: in the old walls, in the surrounding meadows, and in the stories that are still told today.
2019 - Today
Manuel Schrempf and Karin Höflehner
In 2019, Manuel took over his grandparents' farm with great passion. To modernize the operation and provide a better home for the animals, we immediately began expanding the barn. We added a modern free-roof barn for our dairy cows, giving them more freedom of movement, and created a special area in the old barn for our calves.
We then restarted rentals in December 2023 and are pleased to offer this cozy accommodation that combines the charm of rural living with modern comforts.
1978 - 2019
Alfred and Vroni Schrempf
Alfred and Vroni Schrempf took over the Klöckhof in 1978 and breathed new life into the family business. With great dedication and commitment, they boosted rentals and continuously developed the farm. Under their leadership, the Klöckhof experienced a flourishing period, harmoniously combining tradition with modern standards.
In the 2010s, they set new standards with an extension to the house, creating two comfortable rooms and an apartment for their daughter Franziska, who took over the rental business until 2023. These expansions increased guest satisfaction and strengthened the family connection to the farm. They also created an inviting, spacious guest room, offering space for guests as well as family and friends. Alfred and Vroni transformed the Klöckhof into a place where hospitality, tradition, and family are at the heart.
1954 - 1978
Franz and Ida Schrempf
Franz and Ida Schrempf re-established the Klöckhof. Together they took over the farm in 1954, and with just four cows and a great deal of courage, they began rebuilding and gradually created a new life.
In the 1950s, the old, dilapidated house was demolished, and the current house was built in its place. The former horse stable from 1863 was also converted into a cowshed. This enabled them to grow their herd to around 30 animals by the 1970s, about half of which were dairy cows.
